Get the right setting all the time!
Tired of trial and method exposure setting? Do you still get too bright or too dark pictures even when shooting in manual? How do you know how much exposure compensation to set to correct a wrong exposure?
This workshop will teach you how to get the right exposure setting every time, all the time. You will also learn how to use your camera’s different metering patterns, and set the right exposure value compensation. You will also understand the histogram and use it to set and check your exposure settings. So you can always be sure of your camera settings.
What's In Exposure Master?
Stop spoiling the momentum of the shoot by reviewing your photo after every shot. Confidently know what f-stop, shutter speed and ISO value to set without even taking a test image or looking at the LCD.
Realise why correction of badly exposed pictures in post processing will never give you the same quality and level of tonal detail compared to a correctly exposed image and shows you how to prevent it.
Be able to know when to apply exposure compensation and by how much, to get the right exposure, without resorting to trial and error.
Learn how how to select the best metering pattern for a subject, scene or lighting situation. Understand the differences in evaluative, centre weighted and spot metering
Master how to "read" the histogram for exposure check, exposure setting, compensation and dynamic range assessment so you can do the necessary adjustments for maximum tonal detail.
